Après-Ski Programme

The City Ski Championships’ famous après-ski programme reached new heights in Crans Montana in 2015 through a strong partnership with Mambo Europe.

The Thursday welcome evening started proceedings off with style well into the night at Molino’s in Crans Montana with To The Sun, a talented party band with 3 part harmonies, soaring rock pop vocals and more front than Brighton Beach.

The band then returned to bring Zerodix alive on Friday afternoon in full resort party mode, whilst a trend for toffee vodka emerged under the sun…

Friday evening at the Etrier saw the return of a City Ski Championships favourite, The Elements, charismatic foursome, a leading force in party cover songs spanning the ages, ranging from 50’s and 60’s through the decades to the present day.

The Friday Evening Comedy Club at the Etrier had Marcus Brigstocke performing his “Brig Society” unique humour and satire, making merry of the international crowd, skiing and even cuisine! As a keen snowboarder, comedy in the Alps is what Marcus loves best! And afterwards, a fabulous band-e-oke with The Elements got everyone involved, late into the night.

On Saturday Zerodix once more came alive, this time to the sounds of Firekind, a 3 piece modern rock band with epic, soaring guitar, vocal melodies and a powerhouse rhythm & rock anthem section that could fill a stadium.

Gala prize giving dinner guests were privy to The Elements becoming wandering minstrels along with Marcus Brigstocke and his comments on two days of racing, with Matt Chilton, BBC Sport & Eurosport commentator bringing his inimitable humour to the award ceremony.

And to finish in style, Xellent nightclub was packed as Verbier’s own Saxmaniax returned to the City Ski Championships with their medley of live DJ, voice and saxophone and saw the dawn in with seamless sets of quality chill-out, lounge and party spirit for the ultimate finale to the City Ski Championships 2015.
